Production Process
1. Binder Preparation
Sugar syrup, glucose syrup, honey, or milk-based binders are prepared and heated to achieve proper viscosity for coconut binding.
2. Ingredient Mixing
Desiccated coconut, coconut flakes, or shredded coconut are blended with the binder in an industrial mixer to ensure uniform coating without damaging texture.
3. Forming & Slab Shaping
The mixture is transferred to a forming unit where it is pressed into a continuous slab with adjustable thickness and density.
4. Optional Baking or Conditioning
Depending on recipe requirements, the product may pass through a baking oven or conditioning zone to improve structure and shelf stability.
5. Cooling & Stabilization
A cooling tunnel stabilizes the product and prepares it for accurate cutting.
6. Cutting System
Precision cutting units divide the slab into equal-sized bars with clean edges.
7. Optional Chocolate Enrobing
Coconut bars can be fully or partially coated with chocolate to create premium confectionery products.
8. Automatic Packaging
Finished products are transferred to packaging systems for hygienic wrapping and distribution.
