CIP Washing Systems
Automatic Clean-In-Place Solutions for Hygienic Food Production
CIP (Clean-In-Place) Washing Systems are designed to clean the internal surfaces of pipelines, tanks, mixers, heat exchangers, filters, and processing equipment without dismantling the production line.
In modern food and confectionery production, CIP systems play a critical role in maintaining maximum hygiene standards, production safety, and consistent product quality.
Why CIP Systems Are Essential in Food Processing
- Cleaning speed increases more than 10 times
- Human contact with equipment is minimized
- Cleaning parameters remain fully controlled
- Production safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Water, detergent, and energy consumption are optimized
Line Equipments
- CIP solution tanks (alkaline, acid, rinse water)
- Heating system (steam / electric options)
- Circulation pumps
- Automatic dosing units
- Plate or tubular heat exchangers
- Control panel with PLC automation
- Valve manifolds and piping system
CIP Washing Process Steps
1. Pre-Rinsing (Cold Water)
Removal of remaining product residues from pipelines and equipment surfaces.
2. Hot Water Rinse
Softening fats, sugars, and sticky materials before chemical cleaning.
3. Alkaline Washing
Removal of organic residues such as sugar, protein, fat, and syrup deposits.
4. Intermediate Hot Water Rinse
Flushing alkaline chemicals from the system.
5. Acid Washing
Eliminating mineral deposits and scale formation.
6. Final Rinse & Disinfection
Hot water or disinfectant solutions prepare the system for the next production cycle.
